2021 Charbono
The color is a deep crimson red with an indigo hue. The wine opens with a brooding black fruit profile of cassis, licorice, and baker’s chocolate. The flavors are similar with hints of damp earth, wet forest floor, blackberries, exotic spices with French oak. The mouthfeel is elegant, rich, and silky which is unusual for Charbono which usually has chewy, sometimes drying tannins. The finish is very long with fine grain tannins for long term aging.
Food Pairings: The wine pairs well with wild game, osso buco and sharp cheeses.

2021 Rockpile Zinfandel
The color is scarlet red with an indigo hue. The wine has a red and black fruit profile, a “Zinny” typicity. The aroma opens with blackberries, boysenberries, and pepper with hints of clove, cardamom, and cinnamon. Flavors are similar with hints of licorice and Asian spices. The palate is round, rich, suave, and textured. The finish has fine-grain tannins typical of higher elevation terroirs.
Food Pairings: Zinfandel classic pairings include grilled lamb, grilled beef and ribs though it goes beautifully with pastas, stews, and hearty cheeses too.

2022 Verdelho
The color is medium yellow with green hues. The wine opens with fresh aromas of Rome apples followed by citrus aromas of orange, lime, lemon zest and kiwi. With time in the glass, a second wave of riper aromas appears: melons, pear and apricot with tropical notes of papaya and guava. Flavors follow through from the aromas. The mid-palate is round, rich, and coating and lingers into a long, silky finish. This is a multi-faceted wine for all occasions.
Food Pairings: Our Verdelho enhances seafood such as scallops or filet of sole. It also excels with niçoise salad, freshly sliced fruits, and a variety of cheeses: both savory and creamy.

2022 “The Princess” Rosé
The color is coral pink with seashell hues in the meniscus. Fruit aromas begin with strawberry, Bing cherry, raspberry, and rose petal. Flavors are reminiscent of cranberry and pomegranate with hints of kiwi and lemon zest. There is a bright acidity on the palate, followed by a round, velvety texture. The finish is zesty, crisp, clean, and refreshing, certainly inviting another glass. Enjoy!

Flavors follow through with black fruit notes of cassis, cardamom, lingonberry, nutmeg, and baker’s chocolate. With time and air in the glass, nuances of French oak appear. On the palate, the texture is full, round, and smooth with fine grain tannins for aging.

The color is deep crimson red with blue and violet hues in the meniscus. The aromas are almost all black: blackberry, licorice, cassis, clove, and cardamom. Flavors follow suit: black currants, cinnamon, allspice, dark chocolate, and turmeric. Supportive spicy French oak nuances come with air and time in the glass. The palate is highly textured with a round, rich, full coating. The finish shows persistence and fine-grain tannins for structure. This wine is elegant and restrained yet suitable for very long-term aging.
